Balcony view was amazing, we had a view over the small fishing port and enjoyed a bottle of local wine watching the fishing boats return each evening. The room was huge and we had our own private sun loungers. Ask for room 130! a quiet relaxed atmosphere made the stay memorable. Rent a car as this hotel is remote and a fair way from the hustle and bussle if you need more restaurant/bar options

Bed was a little hard and service at restaurant was lacking a bit, often took 45 minutes for breakfast to come out but the view made it tolerable

The staff were very friendly and the hotel has very nice views.

The room is very humid... Hard to get to sleep at night.

The communal areas of the hotel were great - lovely pool area, nice loungers, beautiful view, tranquil. The dining areas were alongside and were ideal - we liked all of this and the spa very much. Staff were also friendly.

The room was not scruffy necessarily but definitely not the same room as displayed in the photos! The room was spacious (I'm not sure if we were upgraded to a junior suite) and enabled us to watch the sunset over the sea from our balcony - however the balacony was much smaller than the exec double rooms'. The bathroom was fine but again a little on the scruffy side. In my opinion the comunal areas are 4 - 4.5 stars and the room was more 3 star. Also one night there was a storm and our room was flooded (a drainage pipe ran into our drainless balcony which resulted in a build up of water which spread into our room and in places was 3-4 inches high. The night porter was pretty useless but in the morning the hotel staff were friendly and gave us a set of spa treatments - but made no effort to solve the problem (which wouldn't have been too difficult!). Fyi this seemed to have happened a few times before.

Great location, very comfortable beds and great pool. Worth paying for superior rom with private pool- we were upgraded for free for our first night but then had to change back to a standard room.

Although lovely facility it doesn't quite match up to the Relais Chateau standard, particularly in terms of service. You wouldn't expect the croissants to run out at breakfast or for a couple who arrived at 10.45 for breakfast (it finishes at 10.30) to be denied even a plate when most of the food was still laid out.

  • 6.6

I liked the fact that it's close to a very nice sea

I didn't like that it's far from Oia and that i felt like i was disconnected from the beauty of Santorini

I liked the Santorini-architecture of the Notos hotel and spa. Every room has own spacious terrace that was very pleasant for family evening sessions. There is also a very good fish and sea-food restaurant on the cliff above the hotel. We appreciated also the possibility to stay one night in a really luxury hotel above the caldera in Imerovigli for the same prize as in Notos, when at our arrival there was no free second room for us in Notos, the hotel manager organized everything, including the transfer. She offered us also some spa procedures as a gift = compensation for flubbed booking (however, the spa staff has still much to learn about muscles and massage).

I cannot believe the story about a technical problem in the second room that could not been repared within 5 days, and that there was no other free room for us, even when they daily accommodated new guests! They were rather overbooked! Instead of 2 double-rooms, we received finally only one junior suite, normally for 2, but we were 3 people! Totally comfortless! Insufficient place/furniture for our belongings, so, the whole time we had to search for something in the luggages. And, of course, parents and the adult daughter did not have their own privacy as in two separated rooms. The third bed was really terrible! The other bed - kingsize- was also badly hard, not ergonomic one as I would expect in a luxury wellness/spa hotel! I had to take medicine against back pain. The walls are too thick for any signal - no handy calls, no WIFI, nor cable internet in the room. The hotel as such looks nice, but there is really nothing arround it- quiet, but very boring location if you have no car. Do not try to come here without a hired car! We lost hours waiting for cabs! Hotel has no privat beach and the beach is not sandy, but of hard gravel. However, we were already tired of changing hotels during this holiday, so we remained. But the final "early" breakfast (at 7:00) was really a shame: they brought for 3 people all together 2 cups of coffe and a cake, no butter, no marmelade, no tea or juice, nothing more. This was "continental breakfast" in a "small luxury hotel of the world" they like to be...

Breakfast was really good. Free parking.

The concierge was horrible. They just did not wanted to help with anything. The pictures of the hotel are so different from the reality. Rooms are very old, dirty and not worth it. The ac is like from the 80's the bathroom is a total mess. The towels were not clean and the hotel didnt had shampoo for 5 days straight. I would never stay again in this hotel so different from its online pictures. We all had a shock the first day and just stayed there because the beach was very nice and close.

    Very good

The location is very good - in just 2 min walk there is a good beach where you can get beds and umbrella for fair price - 7 € (on Perissa beach it costs much more) and there is also a good bar on the beach.

I found the breakfast a la carte a little bit uncomfortable: when we went downstairs for breakfast, sometimes we were waiting during 30-40min to be served. When we asked to bring us breakfast upstairs in our room, the breakfast arrived either much later than it was requested or some items were missing. The steam bath and sauna are not for free! Incredible! In a 4star hotel I need to pay extra to go to sauna?!

It was perfect! The view, the bed, the shower, the jacuzi, spa, breakfast...everything!

As the hotel's location is far from Fira and Oia, I recommend renting a car. Rent on the internet is much cheaper than renting at the hotel. Also, I do not recommend the hotel diving services .. diving is only 5 meters.

Staff keen to help make the stay pleasant. Great having breakfast brought to your bedside and watching the sun rise. Lovely bathroom. Quiet Location Great taverna next door.

Not four star - we got the room for good price but would have felt ripped off if paid the normal price. Spa is good but tired. Location is quiet but possibly too quiet and bus service is limited. Beds very uncomfortable. Tv is basic 14" - limited channel access Music player didnt work but staff did replace upon request. Pool is tiny (tiny)!! Basicaly a tired hotel in many ways with staff who try to please.

    Very good

Lovely position overlooking the port. Very friendly staff. Beautiful view from rooms / swimming pool area. Very good breakfasts.

The description of the rooms at the hotel is very misleading. The furniture in our room, which was 'upgraded' to a junior suite, contained just a bed and a large, very rusty domestic fridge. There were no chairs, no table, no drawers and no wardrobe. The lighting made it impossible to read in bed and plaster was peeling from the walls. There was no curtain round the shower in the en-suite bathroom. It was explained to us that this was a 'cave room', hence the damp. To be fair, it was a large room with a wonderful view, but contained virtually none of the facilities climed by your website description. Had the room been described accurately, we would probably still have booked it because, in many respects it was a vey nice hotel, but it is important to be honest with the descriptions. This was certainly not our idea of what one of the 'small luxury hotels of the world' should be like, but I guess you should only expect to get what you pay for - which was very little!

Nice spa area, nice view over the small harbor. We got and free upgrade to a better room. Reception recommended two nice restaurants for dinner.

We were asked to have breakfast inside although all other could eat outside in the sunshine, mattress is extremely hard und uncomfortable, in the hotel documentation found in the room it was stated that all bookings over 7 days get a free spa program but it was denied for us because we used, food in the hotel restaurant is fair. Cancellation of the last night because of strikes in Greece was not possible.

die Aussicht top, sehr ruhige Lage, frühstück reichhaltig, sehr freundliches personal

im Badezimmer wäre noch eine abstellmöglichkeit sinnvoll

  • 6.2
